QUESTIONS
Can I self-cater
or bring my own caterer?
Absolutely. Most event spaces require you to use their
caterer. You can save a lot of money at Connections for your
event by using your own caterer.
Can we serve alcohol at our function?
You can serve alcohol at your function but if you are to sell
alcohol then your caterer would need to have their liquor license to
be able to do that.
Do you provide discounts if you book on a regular basis?
We do provide up to a 50% discount on renters who use Connections on
a regular basis. Take a look at our rate sheet.
How many parking spaces do you have?
We have over 100 designated parking spaces at Connections and are
adjacent to other parking lots.
How many tables and chairs do you have?
We have 200 cushioned stackable chairs in the main hall and 150
padded folding chairs throughout the space. We have 12
six-foot folding tables you can use for your function. We also
have a dozen 60" round tables. There is NO CHARGE to use our tables
and chairs.
Are you set up for Powerpoint presentations or videos?
We have mounted projectors and screens in our two largest spaces.
Just hook up your laptop and you are ready to go.
Can we use your sound system?
In general, you can use our sound system by hiring our sound techs
at $35/hour. We will train repeat users so they have the
option to run it themselves.
Is there a kitchen at Connections?
Our cafe area has a sink, refrigerator and microwave. We are
not set up for cooking on premises.
What do I need to do in order to book a date/space?
We require a 50% deposit to hold dates.
Do you require a cleaning deposit?
If your function involves a lot of people and food then we usually
take a refundable cleaning deposit of $250.
Are there events you don not allow?
At this time we do not rent out space for Multi-level Marketing (MLM)
recruiting events. Also, we don't rent out the facilities to
any events that would promote excessive drinking, lewd behavior or rowdiness.
